At AUDĒRE., responsibility begins with intention. We believe clothing should be created with respect for the people who bring it to life and consideration for the planet we share. We produce in considered quantities, carefully select premium materials and favour enduring silhouettes over constant newness. Each piece is designed to be worn often and kept for years, while orders are sent in minimal, compostable packaging to reduce unnecessary impact.
Our collections are made in close partnership with skilled makers, chosen for their exceptional craftsmanship, specialist expertise and access to premium materials. These relationships allow us to maintain careful attention to quality, fit and longevity while developing greater understanding and transparency around how our garments are made.
We know responsible practice is never finished. As better materials, processes and technologies become available, we will continue to learn, refine and improve, making thoughtful progress towards a lower-impact future.
AUDĒRE. is based in Australia and operates in accordance with applicable Australian consumer, product safety and garment-labelling requirements. Every collection is designed in Australia, while our production partners are expected to comply with local laws, Audēre’s Code of Conduct and the quality standards we set across the business. We are committed to maintaining responsible and transparent practices at every stage.
Our products are proudly made just outside Shanghai, where we work closely with our trusted production partners to bring each piece to life. Our decision to produce in China is intentional, giving us access to exceptional craftsmanship, specialist expertise and premium materials. Each collection is made in considered quantities by skilled makers who bring precision, experience and care to every garment, allowing close attention to silhouette, fit, finish and the subtle details that define Audēre.
In June 2025, the facility underwent a semi-announced amfori BSCI audit and received an overall C rating, with A ratings across 10 of the 13 assessed areas. The findings highlighted both strong performance and areas for continued improvement. We view external auditing as an important tool for transparency, accountability and progress.
AUDĒRE. works with a considered selection of premium materials, chosen for their softness, movement and longevity. From breathable natural fibres to fluid fabrics and delicate sheers, every textile is selected for the way it feels against the skin and falls on the body.
Our lace is imported from Italy and selected from a collection certified to the Global Recycled Standard, verifying its recycled content and traceability through the supply chain. Made using recycled polyamide and recycled stretch yarns, it is also certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances.
We prioritise quality, comfort and enduring wear, creating garments designed to remain part of the wardrobe beyond a single season.
Out of respect and care for the planet, AUDĒRE. orders are sent using as little packaging as possible. We include only what is needed to protect your pieces in transit, and our mailers are compostable. This considered approach helps reduce unnecessary waste while ensuring every order arrives safely.
